Hatsuda, located in Shugakuin, Kyoto, is a long-established yakiniku restaurant founded in 1980, and has been selected multiple times as one of the 'Yakiniku Top 100 Restaurants'. At the main branch, you can enjoy fresh and rare cuts of yakiniku, with sashimi, tongue, harami, and mino being particularly popular. Their 'Wagyu Bento' sold at JR Kyoto Isetan B2F is also extremely famous, often selling out daily. While there are no private rooms, the restaurant offers counter seats and horigotatsu (sunken kotatsu) seating, creating a lively and homey atmosphere popular with locals. Takeout options are also available.
