Ishimame

Ishimaame is a popular soba restaurant located at the foot of Mt. Yotei in Makari Village, Hokkaido, frequently selected as a Tabelog "Soba Hyakumeiten" (Top 100 Soba Restaurants). The "Torigo-bou Soba" (chicken and burdock soba) is a limited-quantity specialty, praised for its exquisite aroma and smooth texture, pairing perfectly with the dashi-rich dipping sauce. Soba-gaki (buckwheat dumplings) are also a popular item. The restaurant often has long queues even before opening, attracting many visitors from far away. It is a standalone restaurant with a calm atmosphere and beautiful scenery. Credit cards, e-money, and QR code payments are not accepted.
