"Kujirasou Shiomachikan" is a highly-rated soba and udon restaurant in Hitachiota City, Ibaraki Prefecture, repeatedly selected as a Hyakumeiten (Top 100 Restaurant). Housed in a retro and tranquil renovated historic former bank building, it offers stone-ground udon made from "Kinu no Nami" (an Ibaraki-recommended variety grown in-house, hand-harvested and sun-dried) and coarse-ground Hitachiaki soba milled in-house. The "Green Onion Tempura Seiro Soba" is particularly popular. Ideal for family and friends, guests can enjoy nostalgic flavors and aromas in a spacious setting. There are no private rooms, and reservations are not accepted. Parking is available.
