About this Restaurant

"

Established in 1980, "Koseto Coffee Ten" (古瀬戸珈琲店) is a renowned coffee shop and cafe located on the second floor of the Emoto Building in Kanda Ogawacho, Chiyoda-ku. Accessible from Jimbocho and Ochanomizu stations via a notably steep staircase, this Tabelog Top 100 Coffee Shop (2021, 2022) is celebrated for its calm, stylish, and retro atmosphere, complemented by classical music. A unique highlight is the ability for patrons to choose their coffee cup from an impressive display of ceramics, showcasing the shop's meticulous attention to detail. Run by an elderly couple, the interior boasts artistic elements like painted staircase walls and charming ceramic decorations. Visitors can savor carefully hand-dripped, flavorful coffees, alongside popular desserts such as a rich cheesecake without a cookie base and delicious Irish coffee. Now entirely non-smoking, it offers a peaceful and aesthetically pleasing coffee experience, ideal for both solo visitors and small groups of friends. Reservations are not accepted, and it can be quite popular, especially on weekends.
