Kawa no Saki no Ue

Kawa no Saki no Ue is a popular ramen shop in Kamiooka, Yokohama, whose name literally means "above the river's end." It is a member of the G-Men 7 group and has been recognized as a Tabelog Ramen Hyakumeiten in 2021, 2024, and 2025. The shop offers refined clear-broth soy sauce and salt ramen, as well as miso ramen, all featuring an exquisite, deep umami soup that perfectly balances chicken and seafood dashi. The thin noodles pair well with the broth, and complimentary oolong and jasmine teas are also well-received. The shop is child-friendly and features a clean interior with both counter and table seating.
