Sushikai, located in Sapporo, is an acclaimed Edo-mae sushi restaurant selected as a Tabelog Top 100 Sushi Restaurant in 2025, operating on a strict reservation-only basis. Situated a 3-minute walk from Maruyama Koen Station, it is known as a successor to the renowned "Sushi Miyakawa." The restaurant offers a serene ambiance with an 8-seat counter, serving a single nightly seating starting at 7:00 PM. Sushikai is celebrated for its expertly aged ingredients and meticulously crafted omakase course (around 20,000 JPY, plus 5% service charge), with excellent sake pairings also being a highlight. Guests are requested to avoid excessively casual attire and strong perfumes; children under 15 are not permitted.
