Tonkatsu Tonta

Tonta is a legendary tonkatsu restaurant in Takadanobaba, consistently chosen for Tabelog's 'Tonkatsu Hyakumeiten' since 2017 and a recipient of the Tabelog Award Bronze for multiple years (2017-2020). It is celebrated for its incredibly tender and flavorful tonkatsu, with the special fillet cutlet being a standout. The owner, often described as a 'tonkatsu wizard,' expertly prepares each dish. The restaurant operates only three evenings a week (Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday) and frequently attracts long queues, including many international tourists. Reservations are not accepted, and young children (infants) are not permitted.
