Age Fuku

"Agefuku," located a 3-minute walk from Gotanda Station in Tokyo, is a highly acclaimed tonkatsu and curry restaurant, recognized multiple times as a Tonkatsu Hyakumeiten (2026, 2024, 2022, 2021, 2019, 2018). Run by a chef with expertise from the renowned Yazawa Meat wholesaler, the restaurant prides itself on uncompromising quality in meat selection, freshness, and cooking. Their specialty is tonkatsu, slowly fried at a low temperature to achieve a surprisingly light, snow-white, crispy batter and a juicy interior. Patrons praise the exceptionally tender Iwachu pork, which boasts a rich sweetness and fat that melts in the mouth. Beyond tonkatsu, they also offer delectable Wagyu minced cutlets and tender chicken katsu, along with an impressive tonjiru.
