This small, intimate eatery, run by a dedicated couple, serves meticulously prepared dishes featuring Nara Prefecture's brand pork, Yamato Pork. Guests consistently praise the incredibly tender and flavorful tonkatsu, which is noted for being light and easy on the stomach. Each meal is a nutritious delight, accompanied by generous portions of seasonal vegetables, including a large salad and flavorful soup. Due to its limited seating of 12 and a small staff, reservations are essential and should be made by phone during non-business hours, with a requested stay time of just over an hour and a maximum of four people per group. Please note that English-speaking staff are not available.

The tenderness, sweetness, and light umami of Yamato Pork are encased in coarse, crispy panko. This dish comes with tonkatsu, akamoku (appetizer), a bowl of eighteen-grain rice, a hearty miso soup, and a generous salad, along with a cup of black oolong tea. (Note: When there are trimmings available, we may serve more than 200g, which is why we indicate it as "200g plus.") *The eighteen-grain rice does not contain buckwheat. *The salad includes raw onions and shiso leaves. If you're not a fan, just let us know when you make your reservation, and we can prepare it without those. *You can adjust the amount of salad and rice to your liking. *If there's enough rice available, you can request a refill of up to one bowl. It's best to inform us when making a reservation.
