Ban'ya

Banya, a traditional obanzai (home-style dishes) izakaya, has been recognized as an Izakaya Hyakumeiten (100 Famous Izakayas) in both 2024 and 2025. Established in 1967, this beloved establishment is located in Hachinohe, Aomori, about a 10-15 minute walk from Hon-Hachinohe Station. Known for its warm, nostalgic atmosphere and focus on fresh local seafood and delicious obanzai, Banya operates on a first-come, first-served basis as it does not accept reservations.
