About this Restaurant
A tempura specialty restaurant located a 10-minute walk from Gion-Shijo Station, honored with a Michelin star for 15 consecutive years and selected as a Tabelog Tempura Hyakumeiten. Established in 1947, the third-generation owner continues its legacy. In an intimate setting of just 8 counter seats, seasonal ingredients are transformed into artistic tempura. Characterized by an incredibly thin and light batter, and exquisite frying that maximizes the natural flavors of the ingredients. Tempura is enjoyed with salt, lemon, or special grated daikon radish, rather than traditional tempura sauce. Guests may even receive a souvenir bottle of oil. Reservations are strictly required.
